The Holy Qur'an is among the fruitful and widely-used resources utilized by the poets and authors of Persian language. Persian of pleasant tature poets of brilliant talent and artistic genius have made so ample use of Qur'an that Persian mystic poetry can be regarded as the poetry of monotheism. The poet Shahriar also has not neglected this great resource and has embellished his poems with the Holy Qur'an’s verses to the extent that this may be considered one of the most outstanding characteristics of his poetry. Many instances of Qur'an’s influence might be found in Shahriar’s poems such as those in the choice of vocabulary, and those concerned with predicates, interpretation, visual, comparative, inspirational-basic, allusion, pictorial and multifaceted areas.

The emphasis in the holy Qur'an is not merely an instrument to decorate the speech and also is not a redundancy. The according to the circumstance, so that if it is omited the main part of the meaning will be lost.
The style of the emphasis in the whole is the main part of the meaning. The emphasis in the holy Qur'an is like a sign of painting which is drawn skilfuly, which demonstrates the greatness and the wonder. In the chapter of Yosof we find the emphasis.

Intertexuality is one of the branches of New literary Criticism which deals with the interaction and relationship between texts. It suggests that the new texts are interpreted in the light of previous literature and our attention to the absent texts and their interrelations for better understanding of the new text is necessary. Nahjol Balaghe is one of the religious texts that as a source of inspiration, many authors including Muslim and non-Muslim ones, have benefited from in order to increase the richness of their works. Joseph Hashem (-1937) is a Lebanese Christian poet. Though being committed to Christianity, he’s affected by Nahj Al Balaghe and has composed his "Alaviat" collections describing Imam Ali (AS).
He’s also adorned themes of his work using beautiful words of Nahj Al Balaghe and Imam Ali. His poems indicates that he has applied three types of intertexuality including word-oriented, context-oriented and concept-oriented intertexuality from Nahjol Balaghe. Without the least modifications in vocabulary and meaning for the most part, the borrowing is consciously carried out.In the light of the significance of a Christian poet's borrowing from Muslims’ religious text, the present study is to explain different types, quantity and quality of intertexuality used in poems of Joseph Hashem.
