This work encompasses sermons, scholarly–literary discourses, and fragments of poetry attributed to Imam al-Riḍā (AS). Despite the eminent status of this Razavi compendium, no independent national or international study has thus far examined its poetic dimensions. Therefore, employing a descriptive–analytical method, the present study investigates the poetic treatises of ʿUyūn Akhbār al-Riḍā (AS). The findings of this research offer significant contributions to both Persian and Arabic literary studies. In this article, the poems attributed to Imam al-Riḍā (AS) are first extracted and categorized, and subsequently their thematic structures are analyzed from the perspective of literary aesthetics. One of the principal findings of this study is that composing poetry for the Infallibles (AS) is not considered a virtue; rather, based on the established practice of the Prophets and the Imams (AS)—none of whom were poets—the attribution of poems or poetic collections to figures such as Imam ʿAlī (AS) or Imam al-Riḍā (AS) is inconsistent with their rank of infallibility. Nevertheless, rhythmical and rhymed prose attributed to Imam al-Riḍā (AS) constitutes a significant portion of ʿUyūn Akhbār al-Riḍā (AS). مجموعۀ «عیون أخبار الرضا ع» با درهم‌تنیدگی مضامین علمی و ادبی، از آثار شاخص در حوزۀ معارف رضوی به شمار می‌رود؛ چه اینکه این اثر دربردارندۀ خطبه‌ها، بیانات علمی‑ادبی و نیز پارهایی از اشعار منتسب به امام رضا (ع) است. با وجود جایگاه ممتاز این گنجینۀ رضوی، تاکنون پژوهش مستقلی در سطح ملی یا بین‌المللی به بررسی ابعاد منظوم آن نپرداخته است. ازاین‌رو، پژوهش حاضر با کاربست روش توصیفی‑تحلیلی، رسالات منظوم «عیون أخبار الرضا (ع)» را مورد مطالعه قرار داده است که حاصل این پژوهش فواید فراوانی برای ادبیات فارسی و ادبیات عربی در پی خواهد داشت. در این جستار، ابتدا اشعار منتسب به امام رضا (ع) استخراج و دسته‌بندی شده‌اند و سپس درون‌مایه‌های آنها از منظر زیباشناسی ادبی تحلیل گردیده است. از جمله یافته‌های اساسی پژوهش آن است که سرودن شعر برای معصومان (:) :نه‌تنها مزیتی دانسته نمی‌شود، بلکه بر اساس سیرۀ ثابت پیامبران و ائمۀ اطهار (:) : ـ که هیچ‌یک شاعر نبوده‌اند ـ انتساب اشعار یا دیوان‌هایی به حضرت علی (ع) یا امام رضا (ع) با مرتبۀ عصمت آن بزرگواران سازگاری ندارد. این در حالی است که سخنان مسجّع و منظوم منسوب به امام رضا (ع) بخش قابل‌توجهی از کتاب «عیون أخبار الرضا (ع)» را آراسته است. https://jrla.isca.ac.ir/article_80013_32a5b58deb55cbd61f674aec9c1289f9.pdf
