Abstract

“order” and semantic coordination is one of the most important miracle of the Quran. It seems this order exists to provide a semantic chain of events and story scenes. But, commentators and researches have not focused on the question whether the miracle stories of the Quran are in the same way or not? To prove this hypothesis of semantic order in the stories of the Quran, the themes of the story of Joseph (PBUH) in various scenes were investigated by analytical method. The results show; despite numerous events and scenes in this story, semantic chain of primary and secondary themes filed in any scene; coordinated, consistent, systematic and logical sequence is presented. In such a way that none of the sub-theme of the main theme (the dominance of God of devoted servants and the triumph of the Divine Will) cannot be seen not only different, but all have been used to strengthen the basic idea. In addition, the sub-themes have meaning relation associated with dreams and visions which are the most important link between different scenes and many themes in the story.
