Abstract
Michael Halliday's theory, meta.textual functions due to beginning-ending structure, sign and out of sign, the writer tries to transfer the message due to his idea after examining the grammatical, vocabulary relations in the text, to make a cohesive structure of these elements, hence this study tries to deconstruct the text of fourth pray of Sahifeh Sajadieh, Imam Sajad's functions to make people unpleased of cruelty, to follow God due to analytical-descriptive method by using Michael Halliday's meta.textual functions, therefore, we consider what make them cohesive that it has made Sahifeh Sajadyeh after Quran and Nahjol Balagheh as the immanent Islamic text. Findings show that most of prays have begun by compound beginnings, in this view, the threshold is suitable to ask God and to transfer, to repeat elements and the connective words are very frequent than others, in order to be deeply affective in speech.lements and the connective words are
