The Holy Quran is the book of life which has been sent down for intellectual, epistemic and moral development of humans. Describing all aspects of moral virtues and vices in full detail, The Holy Quran teaches humans how to live prosperously. Quranic words are based on images and scenes. Using illustrative style, The Holy Quran has introduced moral vices including idolatry, hypocrisy, unbelief, worldliness and so on in such a delicate way that makes their comprehension very easy for the audiences. In addition, by portraying the consequences and effects of sin, this Muslim Scripture wakes up humans and warn them not to get caught in the trap of sins. Blasphemy is one of the key words which have been scolded in The Holy Quran. Blasphemy, as a negative concept existing in stark contrast with faith, is considered as the exact cause of ruthlessness form The Holy Quran point of view. For a detailed explanation of blasphemy, The Holy Quran has benefited sensory, imaginary and real images in order to transfer its meaning, characteristics and atheists’ features to readers’ mind. The present study is aimed at examining the artistic images of the blasphemy in The Holy Quran to make the hideousness of blasphemy known as well as to explain a small part of the astounding beauty of artistic creations by The Holy Quran.
