The art of poetry among the Shiite poets and the devotees of Ahl al-Bayt has left the unique treasure of Persian and Arabic poetry that a legacy and certainly the pure emotion and feelings towards the Imams and Ahl al-Bayt have been the main motivation for composing many of these poems. from the beginning of the Shiite tendencies among both Iranians and Arabs,the differences of the social, political, and cultural conditions over the years, has influenced the Shiite committed poetry as part of its literature. Despite these differences Shiite poets sometimes have performed in similar ways, thus, this makes the Shiite literature of the two nations the same. After an introductory discussion on Shiite poetry, a glance over its history, and considering its place among the two mentioned nations, and with a comparative study the processes of transformation of this branch of committed literature from the beginning to the contemporary era is shown. According to history Persian Shiite poetry, from the beginning of the movement to centuries later, did not see any significant changes mean while Arabic poetry experienced many new themes, styles, and innovations from the beginning. The Shiite Persian and Arabic poetry transition process from the beginning to the contemporary evolution shows two different movement and trends, upward and downward.
