Human's deeds lead to his happiness and sufferings or miseries in this mundane world and the hereafter as he awaits an eternal life. Thus his deeds in this world as the supply of the heaeafter are signifiacnt. To systematize the addresses' minds and to provoke mental development on him, the Qur'an get advantage of extensive semantic network. Using a descriptive-analytical method, the researcher is to study the semantic scope of good deeds and virtues in the Qur'an based on Izutu's theory – a lexical analysis in the Qur'anic view to words in the micro and macro juxtaposition and substitution. The research findings revealed that the semantic scope of good deds and virtues is among the most frequent Qour'anic words. Based on Izutsu's semantic theory, there is an absolute general-specific semantic relationship between these words, as the semantic scope of virtues are general which includes good deeds and rewards while some virtues are not regarded as good deeds.
