Ma’ruf al-Rossafi, one of the contemporary poets of Iraq, and Seyyed Jamal ol Din Asadabad are among the intellectuals of the Islamic world. They endeavored to shed light on public thoughts, to awaken people’s minds, and to guide the nation’s will toward Islamic values. They have also shone brilliantly as the forerunners of this trend. Since Seyyed Jamal ol Din Asadabad’s ideas and Islamic thoughts were enormously influential in his own era and even after it, some of the writers and great scholars of Arabic Literature assert that Rossafi was also under the influence of Seyyed Jamal ol Din Asadabad’s Reformist thoughts and got benefits from bright horizons of his thought. Thus, this paper attempts to compare and contrast some of the views and thoughts of these two great reformers in order for the researcher not only to explain Islamic and Reformists’ objectives but also to verify such an influence.
